Coronation Tea Party

On Friday 12th May we will be holding our Coronation Tea Party. This will take place during the afternoon, with the children having their lunch as normal. If your child usually has a packed lunch, you might wish to pack a little less on the day but this is at your discretion.

Key information for the day;

• Children bring with them a party outfit. We ask that this is red, white, and blue-themed. They will change at an appropriate time before the afternoon.
• Prior to the event, we ask that each child is signed up to bring in an item of food for their class. This will be shared, for parents to sign up to, via Google Drive for Years 1 – 6 (set as an assignment) and paper copies outside classrooms for both Little and Big Acorns. It will be made available to sign up on Tuesday 2nd May.
• Only children who usually attend Little Acorns on Friday afternoons will be taking part in the Coronation Tea Party.
• All food items are to please be brought in on the morning of the 12th of May.
• We are going to be sitting on the grass and if your child has a picnic blanket, we would like to invite them to bring it in should they wish to.

We do have a backup plan, in case of bad weather, so please bring in the food and party clothes regardless.
