PTA news 29th September 2023 - Topsham School PTA

On Tuesday night last week, we held our AGM. It was lovely to reflect on the positive outcomes from last year and thank the key people that helped and contributed so much to the success of the PTA. .

Here is the PTA Committee for 2023/24:

Our Year Reps are always a huge help in sharing our reminders and messages in addition to organising volunteers for a few events each year. Here are the Year Reps for this academic year:

Big Acorns: Melanie Dew and Jill Grindrod

Year 1: Hannah Waite and James Taylor

Year 2: Ayse/Matt Vahiboglu and ?

Year 3: Catherine Vanrenen and ?

Year 4: Charlotte Moore and Nadine MacLennan

Year 5: Fiona Fitzpatrick and Zoe Verling

Year 6: Rachel Freathy and Sarah Davies

We also decided upon some key dates for events throughout the year (watch this space). Pre-loved Uniform Sales will be scheduled during the school year and the next one will be on 20^th October. If you have any pre-loved uniform, please can you bag it up and drop it into the PTA shed.

The first bake sale of the year will be run by the Year 6 parents on Friday 6^th October.

The next PTA meeting will be held via zoom so please save the date: Tuesday 17^th October. All are welcome to attend the meeting and we hope that by holding it online we can encourage more parents to join us/listen in and find out more about how the PTA works.
